I'm using Edgy with Rhythmbox 0.9.6, and its doing the same thing with
my 60GB iPod. It uses 100% of my CPU for 10 minutes to list all the
songs on it every time I plug in the iPod or start Rhythmbox.
But the real trouble is that I have the iPod support plugin DISABLED
anyway, because I don't want
Bit of followup: I ran the installer again, and tried a less complicated
manual configuration and got the same result.
But, the alternate install CD was able to handle my config ( / mounted
to hda1, swap mounted to hda5, and /home mounted to hdb1).

We have a few confirmations so far, so I'm marking it as such. This is a

Its back at it, so I put the status back to Needs Info.
I typed out as much of the terminal as I could, and attached it to the

actually manages to suspend (and only about 25% of the time).

Every time I log into my up to date Edgy system a libnotify bubble pops

This is really frustrating, because my scanner only works less than half the
time. I saw that someone was having the same issue on FC5:

Hopefully the version of SANE in Edgy will have better support for this

Hmm, it appears that as of today's update, this is no longer an issue.
The machine is now suspending, hibernating and resuming just as it was
under Dapper.
Kudos!
