Just for the record: among the three external hard drives I have access to, feisty can eject two Cypress CY7C68300C-56PVXC based external hard drives smoothly; it cannot eject the one based on Initio INIC-1530L. Perhaps it is a bug in the usb_storage driver? I hope the problem will be fixed soon.
