I plugged the ralink card back in last week and it worked fine, no
lockups, until I did a week's worth of updates today. Now it locks up
really quickly, just past GDM, usually as the desktop is still loading.
This is using both 2.6.22-10 and -11.

Tried using the ralink card again today, Sept. 8, and I haven't gotten a
freeze up yet. I did try to suspend, and got this message over and over
again in the terminal, every ten seconds or so:
Message from [EMAIL PROTECTED] at Sat Sep 8 13:34:22 2007 ...
gg kernel: [ 264.989805]
I tried disconnecting Network Manager before suspending but had no more
success than before.

Anyone willing to suggest whether this is the sort of problem that might
be fixed before the final release or if this means I should buy a new
wireless card?

I pulled the ralink card, and the freezes seem to have stopped, and I
can now successfully suspend/resume (before nothing happened, and when I
shut down instead, the computer did not quite finish turning off,
leaving a network manager error related to the wireless card). Of
course, now I can't
