I experienced the problem when I had two monitors active: With the
Windows key held down, each click of the mouse wheel rotated "upwards"
(to zoom in) causes a seemingly random jump of the cursor about two
inches to the left, right or down.

To elaborate, whenever zoom in is triggered with scroll the mouse pinter moves
position on the screen, sometimes to another monitor and starts zooming in
there sometimes to another location on the same monitor.

Hmm, the sync-mouse code is obviously bugged...
The simple solution is:
- Turn off sync mouse in eZoom
- Turn on "mouse panning"
- Turn on "draw scaled mouse"
Now you'll have a far better mode of operation, but you'll have TWO
mouse pointers. eZoom _can_ hide it for you with 'hide original cu
Visual effects is set to Normal, i zoom by holding super+using-
scrollwheel

Because you wrote that you don't use Ubuntu anymore and maybe these all
caused by the faulty video card driver. Of course if you're willing to
test Hardy the marking of duplication can be reverted.
