Where have you seen that this bug is invalid?
The bug is reported upstream, we can't do a lot more ATM. Feel free to
provide a patch.

Sorry but we need more details, could you check the two upstream bug
reports I linked to and tell us which one seems to be more relevant ?
By the way what are you using gam_server for ? And how are you mounting
your ntfs partitions ?

I don`t use gam?server at all.
it is just installed by default to make some trouble to users
and bunc of applications depend on it I think.
Anyway, I am killing thunar and gam_server few times a day
but I am still using My Xubuntu with joy.
