Same error on HP Pavillion TX 1320US (with AMD 64 bit proc.), running
Hardy 32bit. But it always loads up just fine, and everything seems to
work as it should.

Have the same error, only my problem is somewhat worse. Can't use my
WLAN PCI card. It's not recognized by ubuntu, though it works perfectly
fine under windows.

I got the same error just after press "Enter" key in GRUB menu and then
mi Laptop seems to sleep (black screen and nothin else) and it takes

Another report, just installed Gutsy (Ubuntu Desktop version) onto a
Fujitsu Lifebook P1610 (an ultra-portable tablet). The Wacom tablet
disappeared after the install, and this bug now comes up.

i have it where unless i disable the acpi, dma and pnpbios it wont even
load a desktop. then every once in a while it will load the desktop. i
also have no audio what so ever im not sure if its related to this
