Since we don't have any hardware for fixing, I set this bug to "won't
fix". If someone meet this issue again, please test on Jaunty 9.04 and
fire a new bug for us.

I regret to advise you that Ibex 8.10 does not resolve the problem. As
reported earlier, the system will not complete boot if the card is
inserted beforehand, and will hard lock within seconds of insertion of
the card.

I'm hoping they will have this issue fixed soon, I've resorted to my $20
5-in-one USB reader. Lets keep our fingers crossed. My laptop does
exactly the same thing you described so your not alone :-). The kernel

Sorry but i wasn't able to see any logs available however I did switch to the
console and plugged the SDcard into the reader to see what happened and took a
picture of what happened .. needless to say it locked up and required a reboot
again but no big deal ... overall Hardy is looking
