The messages are probably related to x2gocdmanager which is part of the
x2go family. X2go isn't included in any Ubuntu repository. A snippet
from /usr/sbin/x2gocdmanager:

the message:
There's a utility which is named "strace" (see
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Strace) that might help out.
I wrote a small shell script (see attachment) that traces the whole

1) The Syslog-Message is not stopped by hal-disable-polling.
2) gconftool-2 --get /apps/nautilus/preferences/media_automount

Sorry for the misunderstanding.
Could you try to run the commands in 1) and 2). For both, let us know
the outcome:
1)
$ sudo hal-disable-polling --device /dev/cdrom
# Now check if the messages stop, if not helpfull, execute the following:
$ sudo hal-disable-polling --enable-polling --device /dev

produces the error message is xbmc NOT installed, so i think the direct
cause must be found in the ubuntu-packages, not by any bugs in optional
xbmc-packages. I prefer to reopen this bug-description. If you need any
more hints i will
Please follow the instructions at

This bug isn't Ubuntu related, therefor I'm closing it as "Invalid".
