Just a final note. Testing a disk from March 21st 2009 shows that the
-desktop task was indeed selected/hidden. Installation completed and
upon boot into the system I had a desktop.
Looks like a success.

The note genuinely does seem to confuse people installing Ubuntu servers
who aren't very familiar with Ubuntu.
I've done some work on tasksel so that we can do the following:
* hide ubuntustudio-desktop
* continue to always install ubuntustudio-desktop on Ubuntu Studio CDs
* install

The Ubuntu Studio developers asked for it to be this way, and the bug
here is in the Ubuntu Studio seeds. I knew this was going to be a
problem for netboot installations sooner or later.
Ubuntu Studio developers: What do you want to do about this? Note that
ubuntustudio-desktop is selected by

installation would be able to disregard this note. I've had a good many
people miss the -desktop option where this is just one bug.

With my recent cd image tests, the ubuntustudio-desktop task option has
been visible, and not selected, so it still needs to be selected. If
this easy to remedy, I'm all for having it selected by default, and
removing the must install note.
