I'm sorry about this misunderstanding, but what I'm really saying is
that it may be a bug in Firefox because it's the only application that
uses a window title for the application title. All other applications
have this distinction (app: gedit, window: Untitled Document 1 - gedit)

I've found out more information about this problem. Most applications,
such as gedit, gnome-terminal and even thunderbird, have a separate
application title (which we don't see used in Gnome 2) and the window
title. This means that the application title never changes (which is why
