I can also confirm this problem. This never used to happen to me. The
only difference is that I am now using WPA instead of WEP security. This
may have something to do with WPA_Supplicant if other people have this
issue and they also use WPA.

I was there when he had that crash. It is not easily reproducable. It
claimed it had crash, but it didn't. I suspect this means a program or
task rhythmbox created had crashed.
Looking at ProcStatus, it seems that its related to the indexing of

That's a small issue with my graphic card and
memory(physical), high heat, so, the bug take it´s all
the software, not only firefox, but that's the first

It looks like revelation uses gnomevfs,URI to handle paths internally.
Spaces are escaped by replacing them with %20 (I guess other characters
like é cause the same issue).

Just ran into this myself on a Feisty install. The character data elisp
files all exist in /usr/share/emacs/site-lisp/nxml-mode/char-
name/unicode, but the equivalent directory of compiled elisp files does
not exist under /usr/share/emacs21.

Oops, that might be slightly confusing. Basically, I meant that nothing had
changed since this morning. i.e. it was showing the dialog where before it
wasn't at all, but it doesn't reflect what is actually happening in the
system, and it still refuses to load if you sudo it.

Well, in the end, it fails the seamless test for me. It crashed on reboot and I
had to roll it back to kernel 2.6.10 in order for it to boot up again. It
failed to recognize my hard disk. Scary. Once I got it back up and

qstart.desktop which was linked to a file that didn't exist. deleting

Putting compiled versions of the elisp under /usr/share/emacs21/site-
lisp/nxml-mode/char-name/unicode gets rid of the problem. So it looks
like a packaging bug (that these elisp files are not being compiled and
installed to the correct location).

However, I installed xserver-xorg-video-intel_1.9.92-1_amd64.deb and

Seems like no luck in pure X applications either. xterm wont accept SCIM
input. Seems like a SCIM-XIM problem.

Request to either have vim put back in place of vim-[tiny,minimal], or have

The funny thing is that a 6.10 can find and install but for some reason
it assigns the drives as /dev/hda1 instead of /dev/sda1 but is a quick
fix in grub menu. I tried to update to feisty once 6.10 loaded but then

Did you make sure you closed the preferences window before you restarted
- since it is at this point where the changes are saved - if you do not
close it, they will not be stored.
Also, make sure gconfd is running, since this is used as the storage
backend.
