If the external monitor is showing a blue rectangle where the video is
supposed to be, this is probably a video overlay problem associated with
the driver for the particular graphics chips. I obtained this info from

The Psi problem turns out to be a red-herring - installing libqca2
-plugin-ossl (as per Bug #188699) gets Psi working again. This is
probably a Psi bug, but nothing to do with Evolution.

I get the same problem on the latest Hardy Heron. I am using compiz with
the Human Theme customized. if i click two text files from nautilus,
they open in different windows instead of the same window, two tabs.
really annoying.

I fail to see what is the point of this merge.

we have actually managed to bypass this problem in our PCs through a change in
our business process. All files are low-case in outr network now. Upper or
mixed-case in no longer allowed, so theres no need to rename files to change
the case anymore. Also, the Windows shares
went to: http://www.themuso.id.au/ubuntu/alsa and found out that some of the
links are mixed up... clicking on 32 architecture link brings up the 64 and
vice versa...
plus some dependencies did not work neither.. still no sound. Updated today and

Binary package hint: apache2-mpm-itk
There is a new apache2 upload in hardy-proposed, so apache2-mpm-itk needs a
rebuild-only SRU again (so it gets build with apache2 from hardy-proposed).

surprising that olive-gtk fails, but I think the error message and the
seg fault need a wee bit of attention. As it happens the DISPLAY

Sorry, didn't mean to give you an ouchie :). After much digging I found
the solution. Apparently using a dbus interface fixes the code. Here we
go:
hal_dot = 'org.freedesktop.Hal'
hal_path = '/org/freedesktop/Hal'
bus = dbus.SystemBus()
hal_manager = bus.get_object(hal_dot, hal_path+'/Manager')
Also affects quodlibet.

Well, I tried the patch (with a apt-get source linux-ubuntu-
modules-2.6.24-19-generic, application, dpkg-buildpackage -us -uc, dpkg
-i), and it was no help to me on my T61p. Actually, it seems to make
matters worse: instead of the connection dying every few minutes, it
dies after a second or two.
