Alain, this is probably due all Ubuntu servers being overloaded. We did
a new release yesterday and that puts quite a stress on the servers when
millions of people try to upgrade at the same time. Could you try again
early next week and report whether it works then?

I seem to have the same issue after upgrading 9.04 => 9.10 (no obvious problems
with 9.04). I'm using TB in a mixed environment with XP, sharing the profile in
a common vfat partition.

ubuntu upgra
I also have this bug, 32 bit system, going from 9.04 to 9.10.
The first time I attempted to upgrade, the upgrade stalled on I think
"Getting New Packages", I think while downloading file 392 of a lot more
than that. I canceled the upgrade then rebooted. I started the upgrade
again, and got this er

Had this bug to. It happend when I left a sd card mounted in the left slot.
Unmounting fixed it temporarly.
Then I installed linux-backports-modules-karmic and added pciehp.pciehp_force=1
to the kernel comandline (see bug 271019).
This fixed it.
