no solution. I noticed that there is some packages or machine drivers
install packages from outside Main and some times form outside Ubuntu
repo like the case with printing drivers. I've found this repo

The peculiar thing is that this was/is happening in Maveric. I was
running Lucid on another partition with no problem. This morning after
installing startup manager the problem started in Lucid. File Manager
started over and over again.

no this is not about Mlterm as long as VTE does not support RTL.
at least there should be a warning or suggestion or message inside the
terminal stating that gnome-terminal does not support RTL and you should
install something else, like Mlterm. that is only when a user installs

Thank you for bringing this bug to our attention. However, a paper cut
should be a small usability issue, in the default Ubuntu installation,
which affects many people and is quick and easy to fix. So this bug
can't be addressed as part of the project.

The Firefox .desktop file is not translatable in Launchpad.
You will need to add the translation to the file itself. I'll add a
Firefox task for that in case you want to provide that translation. For
an example of a similar bug for Thunderbird, here is how Spanish
translations were added on bug
