It occurred to me just after writing this bug report, that some people
may be using the current functionality of the regex search of the
cmdline to find a particular instance of a process based on its args.
So a better enhancement idea may be to keep the current functionality of
scanning the /proc

I'll take a look at this later this week however, after a quick look
/proc//status I found that under the field name, some processes
names that are long might not show the complete name, i.e.:

This bug may be occurring because of PCIe link management disabling the
link + hardware. It may be worth booting with the following kernel
parameter to see if it helps:
pcie_aspm=off
I've seen this kind of bug being fixed by a BIOS upgrade because the
BIOS changes the PCI_CFG_LINK_CTRL_VAL_L1_EN

I'm experiencing this problem as well: Whenever an app shows the
progressbar on the launcher icon (Ubuntu One in the example video) all
launcher entries below it won't show the icons, up to one of those show
the "launched" arrow on the left. This one will show the arrow, and all

It seems to me like you should also have an entry 127.0.1.1 added from
the installer with your hostname, similar to the one for 192.168.2.180.
AFAIK there is nothing in specs saying that the hostname needs to be set
to an IP the machine has (which has led us to disable NM touching
/etc/hosts at all
