When the pgsql backend is set up to connect to a database without write
access, pdns fails to start, trying to run some update queries.
Using 4.0.3 as packaged by upstream fixes the problem (pdns properly
serves records from a read-only replica).

I took the source from kernel.org, applied ubuntu fixes (0001 - 0006) from
kernel.ubuntu.org (so it's basicly a ubuntu kernel), then configured it and
found out that AMD_PINCTRL was disabled from the beginning.
I'm not sure if ubuntu finally updated the fixes to disable it
@goldyfruit, your still having an issue with the test kernel I posted in

I tested several times, but dnsutils with bind9-host was not enough.

I setup a Trusty LXD, installed libsane and libsane-common and then
manually updated source.list with the xenial repositories, including
xenial-proposed. I then did `sudo apt-get update; sudo apt-get dist-
upgrade` and the upgrade completed successfully (no error) with the
following versions of
xenial has the same problem, but does not actually parse the file to
apt-key. If we SRU there, I suggest:

I've just encountered this issue with Ubuntu 16.04 / avahi-daemon

I fixed it by formatting everything in sight and reinstalling the 17.04
upgrade. No more conflicts it seems. Thank you so much for your time and

@bryanquigley that's an odd non-sequitur. I'm avoiding switching to
systemd (in part for power usage), and cgroupfs-mount is not the thing
being removed.

Indeed does look the same, happens when I am running chromium, cxreg
found bug happens in Chrome. So some path with the i915 there does
appear to be flaky.
Workaround seems to not be super effective given post

Encountered this error when I tried reinstalling the texlive 2015 from
the official source. TeX-common stopped me to reinstall, but I have
tried removing tex-common completely, I think.

This issue is happening on my 2012 MBP 13inch as well.
I am dual booting OSX and Ubuntu 16.04
The issue does not manifest itself when booted into OSX - only Ubuntu.
How to prevent:Remove the power connector. When removed, the
trackpad works normally.

Turns out the voltage and clock adjustments can be made (I reported
earlier, directly above this comment, that it was not possible which is
wrong) it can be done, its interface is .. unintuitive. (hint: use the +
and - keys when item is highlighted.
