is triggered with switching of the "show the menu for one window"
setting in systemsettings->appearance -> theme behaviour.

Upgraded from 11.10 to 12.04 and using nvidia-current with a 8600gtm
with unity and twinview with external monitor.
I had some sort of this "puzzle" on the external monitor since oneiric.
Now its on both screens but IIRC its just black and gray and not the things
from the last login.

toggle didnt work. could manage to get into ccsm because the zoom was
only on the external monitor. disabled the ezoom plugin and after some
hanging unity restartet and all opened windows were still open.

after an dist-upgrade removed unity and i reinstalled it unity doesnt load

it just shows a black screen. i can start a terminal with ctrl-alt-t which

I had this bug with actual lucid and 2.6.32-31-generic-pae on my Dell
Vostro with a Intel T7500 CPU.
/sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_max_freq was only set to
800Mhz. even setting it manually to max with: "echo 2201000 | sudo tee
/sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_max_freq"
build radiotray-ng for my 20.04 development install. works as it should. had to
convert my old bookmarks.xml to the new json setup.
would recommend to change to radiotray-ng, too.
