The last version avaiable in Lucid is 1.3.22. But 1.3.23 has loads of
bugfixes, especially in regard to cookie parsing. This shouldn't be too
hard as it's not a major version change. (upgrading to maverick or
HAProxy 1.4.x is not an option, and most people

Thank you for reporting this. Unfortunately it looks like this upstream
version has new features which are not allowed in Stable Release updates. If
there are specific bugs that should be backported, please file bugs for them
and follow the Stable Release Update procedures to get these fixes i

Several minor bugs were fixed since 1.3.22, and the request-learn,
force-persist and http-check send-state were backported because people
need them for more transparent and reliable application updates. Sinc
I specifically wrote (quote):
"upgrading to maverick or HAProxy 1.4.x is not an option, and most
people will want to stick with the LTS release anyway".
Migrating production 1.3.x configs to 1.4.x is not guaranteed to be 100%
compatible.
And as far as I can tell now, it looks like there's no luc

HAProxy 1.3.23 version bump
Status in “haproxy” pack
I specifically referred to the Stable Release process for this reason
rather then suggesting a full backport. Since the 1.3.x branch upstream
already has the changes you need, they just need to be cherry-picked and
have test cases for them to go into Lucid.
