Hello. I installed the standard distro of ubuntu on an atom
motherboard. It goes to a liliput touch screen. In the past I used the
late great ubuntu mobile. Now When I am in plain ubuntu I cannot drag
the mouse. I double click by double tapping( which is the same but
before a single click

isso, para solucionar o problema o kernel teria de controlar esse
numero de ciclos que tá mal programado de fábrica, em geral afetaria
apenas os notebooks onde os recursos ACPI são melhores aplicados.

По поводу вебкамеры вопрос спорный. Я лично сторонник того что ноутбук
это высокконвергентное устройство и допжелезки только мешают. Максимум
мышь и наушники. Закинул в сумку трусы носки ноут с мышкой и зубную
щетку и хоть в гости хоть в командировку. Если есть возможность лучше
взять на intel

Очень хотел бы изменить кодировку (key mapping) клавиатуры Russian
Phonetic, а именно:
вместо W=B поставить V=B, а вместо V=Ж установить W=Ж
еще было бы удобно поставить Ъъ на ¦| вместо 5 и 6, а то нажимать
shift, когда пишешь маленькими буквами как-то странно...

Проблема решилась. В процессе создания нового раздела было указано, что он -
неформатированный. Вот и в mbr записалось, что он без fat32 на борту.
Запустил cfdisk (кстати, у него что-то с буковками: не все отображаются, на
месте некоторых - вопросительные знаки. НЕприятно очень), в нём записал
ругаться - ругается. но не выключается
из гуёвых настроек ничего типа вырубать при определённом заряде не нашёл
из негуёвых - в /etc/laptop-mode/laptop-mode.conf есть строка
MINIMUM_BATTERY_CHARGE_PERCENT=3. это - что-то похожее, но всего остального
я так и не нашёл. при достижении порога в 3%
обнаружил неприятное: нет настройки, отвечающей за вырубку оси при
достижении порогового значения заряда аккумулятора. ругаться - ругается. но
ничего не предпринимает. а хочу, чтобы вырубалось. желательно - настройка
через ГУЙ.

This hook patch is needed to run backported kernels on Hardy systems
with root-in-lvm and partitionless PVs because Ubuntu kernels after
2.6.24 need sysfs_scan = 0 set in the lvm.conf file. Without it, a
Hardy system can hang at the waiting for root file system boot
message.

RCS encourages one to put its files in a directory named RCS -

je vous écris malheureusement pour qquechose qui ne concerne pas linux de
prime abord.
en effet le lien est que la neufbox tv utilise un logiciel (media center)
qui tourne sous linux.
malheureusement , la neufbox tv enregistre au format *.rec et moi,
je voudrai le convertir en *.avi :
