till I realised that I need to install an additional package (gnome or kde)
for matching the theme. After that, its a breeze. No issues as of now.

I am not sure but I read a few comments on some forums and blogs which
suggested users to install LibreOffice via PPA that reported missing
libraries and dependancies that broke Open Office and rendered some
files inaccessible.

as informações que precisava no site do MEC. Achei que era porque o site era
mal feito, e tal, mas quando acessei as mesmas páginas no Chrome, além de

Fui lá marquei o Oxygen-icone-theme e mandei atualizar

I was able to get my UEC private cloud working. Now I am trying to
upload the UEC build images (maverick).
The problem is that the image bundles do not have ramdisks in them,
which is necessary for them to work in UEC.

I did that, however, the instance stays pending and never runs.
Only the images installed from the image Store (with ramdisks) will run.
Perhaps this is another problem and I see that others have it, but
cannot solve. :(

Can you:
* try with 'ssh -vvv' for both these machines and post both outputs
* on the failing machine, bring up a server with '/usr/sbin/sshd -ddd'
(on a spare port if you can't stop the main server) and post the
output from when you attempt to connect to it
