Minha inatenção não foi de criticar, fui interpretado erroneamente. Só

É a mesma situação de quando há uma atualização ou instalação de pacotes. Em
algum momento, o sistema poderá ficar lento (na hora de executar a
atualização em si), mas poderá ser usado.
Não significa que é uma boa ideia usar, apenas que é possível.
