I suggest trying easystroke for configuring mouse buttons. It works
differently than btnx, but it seems to get the job done.
I still have a working btnx in Jaunty but I think I installed it from
source and had to hack at it a bit. I don't really recommend using it
anymore although I do.

This has been fixed in Linus' latest tree. The patch applies nicely to
latest Jaunty kernel and fixes the problem.

Apple wired mini Aluminium keyboard not recognized
I'm experiencing something similar, but with a twist.
After few hours to two days of use, my ext4 /home partition becomes
read-only all of a sudden. I usually close my session, unmount home, run
fsck on the partition, and remount. Occasionally it leads to data loss,
depending on what I was doing.
Has anyone tried btnx in Jaunty? It seems that btnx did not work in
Intrepid because Ubuntu packaged a version of xserver that had a bug. I
would suspect Jaunty uses the fixed version.
Also, evdev is better but there is still no user friendly way to
configure mice.

As far as I can tell, /etc/ldap.conf (pam/nss) and /etc/ldap/ldap.conf
don't even have the same configuration parameters. Bug #115967 is sort
of related (TLS_CACERT/TLS_CACERTFILE).
See man pam_ldap (package libpam-ldap) vs. man ldap.conf (package
libldap-VERSION).

I just bought an Olympus mju 770 and I can confirm that I cannot save rotated
images
in neither eog nor gthumb (both die with SIGSEGV), apparently because of this
bug in libexif12f_0.6.13-5ubuntu0.2 which has been corrected upstream, at least
in current 0.6.16, probably already 0.6.15.

I am still interested in the fix for 2.6.17-10-generic on Edgy. And like
I said back in November, the modified ipw3945.ko module did not help. It
fixed the boot but disabled sound. I vaguely remember that WinXP uses

Both worked when installed from terminal.

I had same problem with P5B. I tried to install to PATA and SATA disks.
PATA-drives were tested with different jumper settings, cable
select/master/slave. I updated to newest beta bios version 0806 (2006/11/09
update) which solved the

It is possible add en_FI locale to Ubuntu? English isn't Finland
