I can reproduce this behaviour. usb-creator fails to even detect a USB
stick that is unpartitioned (VFAT exists on the raw device). In order
to get the disk to appear in the dialog, it required repartitioning and
mkfs.vfat against the new partition. No button was shown to allow for
reformat.

I've tested this suite in the MID live environment.
The layout is a little cramped at 800x600, but acceptable at 1024x600.
The hildon patch is no longer required with this set of packages.

1.3.4-1.3.4-1.1ubuntu1).
1.3.5-2 builds under Hardy with no source modifications
audacity rdepends are limited to metapackages for Ubuntu Studio and Edubuntu
