Thanks for the fix. Got the same problem with a GM945, and this seems to fix it. I've read somewhere in this thread that the new line in /proc/mtrr gets wiped out after a reboot (or X restart?). Do any of you have any advice on how to implement this fix so that it survives reboots? I mean, it's
