I have this same crashing problem, several times a day. Started about a
week ago.
I also have the same problem trying to report it. I have /var/crash
/_usr_bin_gnome-shell.1000.crash which is 65M. When I try report it
using either appport-bug or apport-cli, those commands just exit
silently
an easier workaround than setting up your own symlinks is to just tell
heartbeat to use the lrmd binary provided by the pacemaker package
directly.
In /etc/heartbeat/ha.cf just add the line:
respawn root /usr/lib/pacemaker/lrmd

instances (though on Centos with a 2.6.18 kernel). Reducing number of
cpus in dom0 to 1 worked around it for now. No crash in weeks since.

With a second monitor just connected, the resolution of the gdm login
screen on the internal screen is 1024x768, rather than 1280x800 as it

to get it back (/etc/init.d/hal restart). It worked when I first
upgraded to Hardy, but broke last week sometime. Within a few seconds of
restarting hal, nm-applet finds my wireless network and automatically
connects to it.

In the latest updated Hardy, the gnome-display-settings tool doesn't
work. It shows my two screens ok, but settings to them don't take
effect. My two screens are an internal LCD and an external VGA monitor.
