When I create or attach to a screen session in gnome-terminal, locally
or over ssh, the window resizes to an 80 character width. Height is not
affected. This behavior is new in Jaunty, and there doesn't seem to be
a setting that affects
Killing ~/.kde solved the hanging issue, but I still couldn't do writes
to the ldap resource. It's definitely a separate bug, though, so I'll
open a new one.

The installed docs look just like those docs, which haven't been updated in 5
years. Apparently we're installing an app rewritten for kde4/plasma, and
installing ancient docs for it.

After a little more observation, it looks like the top-level total is an
accurate sum of the unread counts of all the subfolders, but one of my
subfolders has -44 unreads, because one of the feeds in it has -44
unreads. Maybe this makes a difference: this feed is to mark articles
as read when
I can reproduce it in KDE4. I don't yet know exactly *how* to reproduce
it, but closing and restarting Kontact seems to reset everything and
temporarily fix it. Currently I have a total of 43 unread articles in 3
feeds. The counts for the individual feeds and the folders they're in
are correct,

some of the problems, but I've finally switched to gnome-terminal, so I

I can confirm this on machines where an iSCSI SAN is in use. There's no
killing the vgcfgbackup process, either - it goes into uninterruptible
sleep, presumably waiting on i/o. I have to comment that line from the
postinst script to successfully update.

I just had the update complete without a problem on a server with an
attached iSCSI SAN - the same SAN as the one I had the failure on, so

always fails, and the second and subsequent attempts almost always succeed.

anymore. I did reinstall ubuntu-minimal, some dependencies of which
hadn't been installed, including upstart-logd, but reinstalling didn't
help. I did notice something potentially helpful, though. When I start

this). It's not where it apparently should be, though. This is on

Since I've already filed this bug before, and had it rejected, I'd like
to chime in before it gets rejected again. Alsaconf is a buggy, sorry
excuse for a configurator that happens to work. Before dropping it,
please see that its functionality is replaced. For Gnome users, I hear
that it is.
Also works fine on edgy.
