I ran into the same issue. the issue is that the "zypper" package is using /usr/bin/gpg2 to validate repository signatures, but zypper does not depend on that. the fix is to merely install "gnupg2" beforehand. Maybe this could be fixed by adding a runtime dependency on gnupg to the package. --
