Ok, if I open the evolution and look at say june, then I click on the
home button to bring me back to current date. It don't bring me back to
the current date / month, it bring the week /day view back to current,
but not the months on the left

Ok. If I put the computer to sleep (suspend) and wake it up it sometime
mess up the file system, I get a black screen with some info that tells
my that my fs is corrupt.

Rejected?? why. I think this is a kind of important issue. That if you
boot and leave the computer it will never go to sleep (drain battery on
laptops). Also if you logout then you have the same issue, the power
manager are no longer in work. Laptop as desktop.

I have not disabled any dbus. I did try to add the gnome-power-manager
to a boot script, just to see if it could suspend the computer if *not*
logged in. But it failed.
The point of this bug report is.. that it should run the gnome-power-
manager even if you are not logged in.

Ok here some news.
If using the modeline from GTF in ubuntu, then I get this odd problem that i
need the 915 resolution as well to get GDM and desktop to have the right
resolution and Hz.
But if using KDE and let it set the reso and Hz it work fine. Or if using a

Yes I have the same on my kubuntu (clean install) if using usplash the
machine will not shutdown. However if I remove the usplash it works like
designed, well no usplash. This is from the log out shutdown menu.
If shutting down from terminal sudo shutdown -P 0 then it works.

Cant get it to fail when running strace from terminal, it only fails
when open from nautilus action and it only happens when using gksu or
gksudo and gnome-open. Anyhow this is the ps- ef after it failed. I will
get back as son as possible, when I have more info.

I have the libgnome (2.14.1-0ubuntu2) dapper installed.
And used the libgnome2-0 (2.17.1-0ubuntu1) as replacement, I only replaced the
gnome-open file.

If I try to use a nautilus-action or if using the terminal to open a
location / file by using gnome-open it fails to open. Or if it's open
then many times it don't exit, it stays open in the memory.

I have the same the screen is black and the system don't respond at all.
All I can do is to CTRL+ALT+DEL to make it reboot.
But if I add Option *VBERestoretrue* to the xorg.conf file

Ok. Have tried it some more, and I found that if I set it to make a full
backup at least once every 1 days. It should make a full backup every
day yes? But it's not, it's only make incremental backups.
It only make 1 full backup (the first) then the rest is only .inc
every day.
Or am I missing
I just compiled a dapper version of it, and it works great.

Thanks for fixing this. This was something that was missing in the linux
world, a simple backup solution, but still powerfull and a purge option.
Ok. The logs are empty, but the terminal window is full of info, so I did copy
that instead.

Ok. Have tried the *6.06* alternate cd and it's installing fine, except
that somewhere at the end of the install process, I only get a
blackscreen with 2 white square in the center more and less.
At this point I'm not able to view anything of the process, so all I can
do..
Maybe you can use code from the reoback. Reoback have an purge option
that works great.
