Hello ! here are my 0.02€ I believe english copy of code of conduct should be signed for two reasons: a) As with any text code of coduct can not be translated exactly, but will always (ignoring various possible mistranslations) have at least slightly different tone /setting than the original one

About videos: It does not have to necessarily include a lot of speech / text. It can be just used for demonstrating simpel things. I can say from experience that a simple one minute video with no text (i thought recordmydesktop won't record sound, silly me), just showing how you login into launchp
