I think in general it depends on particular programming language of the
template you translate.
In most cases \n will break the line, but if you deal with (x)html - br /
will work.
Try to look into source of System Settings and look for \n in this phrase.

many graphics and you need to hold it as is, you could open it
in Inkscape - amazing vector editor with excellent PDF import - and
translate it directly there.

templates for Russian. The «Russian (Russian Federation)» [1] and
