I did have this problem when I updated to hardy, but now it seems to
work fine since I upgraded to the release candidates of FireFox.
Using the user agent switcher did solve the problem at first. All you
needed it for was the login pages any other page was fine once you had

Situation:
One room with ten computers (running Win2k) and network hardware
installed.
Internet connection running through a old Netpilot proxy box.
Users would log into a local desktop and would only be asked for a
username and pwd for web connection when firefox started.
it be possible to have a centralised usr / password list that each
system could query?
