something to do with Flash player. I have found that while the box is

I have noticed that when ureadahead does a trace (does it every 30 days or

There is no xorg.conf file so I don't know if it's possible to fix?
However, removing the xserver-xorg-video-ati and restarting gdm is a better
than nothing workarround as it falls back to the vesa driver.

Has anyone found a fix for 9.04? I cannot upgrade for several months at
the earliest and have a lab full of 9.04 boxs and new 22" monitors (an
upgrade from 17"). They all exhibit this issue when the monitors are
connected by DVI.
Is it a matter of building the newer Xorg driver from source? Can
One more thing I should mention. It is still much more stable than
before, however, the instability will also occur on AC. Personally, I
feel that the overall stability is more helpful because I use this

I have made some fudges to the src code (modifying BARCO_1366 special
timings to suit my purpose) and managed to get 1360x768 (virtual size
