Hi mrickma,
I think this bug doesn't affect me. And the work-around didn't change
anything.
Also note that I only have suspend problems with Brian Rogers kernels. I
am now using the solution from bug #541492, and everything is working
fine (suspend included).

I had this problem every day. I solved it by using the 34 kernel.
However, over the last few weeks it has started happening again. Twice
today. I'm on a Thinkpad T60. Hope this is useful info and this this

Nvidia G102M not working
I just got another freeze today. I've been running with
radeon.modeset=0 noapic nolapic for several days (a week, maybe) and
hadn't had a freeze until now. As others have reported, I can ssh into
the system; Xorg is running at 98% CPU.

yes, I have it too. after installing kubuntu all worked well, but when
i installed nvidia driver, 1) my splash screen went ugly 2) I can't
logout (this bug).
I see totally the same behavior with Ubuntu Lucid (Gnome). It works with
default driver but it doesn't work with nvidia 96.

load up a LiveUSB enviroment and all I get is the Ubuntu loading screen
