information on exactly what configurations are supported. Am I correct
in interpreting your answer that nouveau also does not support this
configuration? I have tried 10.10 with nouveau with similar results. I
could never get

It works. I installed nvidia-96 from maverick-proposed and ran nvidia-
xconfig. I can now play OpenGL games. My card is an nVidia GeFroce 4 Ti
4200. Thanks for your work.

+1 for having this on Lenovo. My laptop is a T61p. I haven't really
figured out when it happens but maybe it happens more after I have
suspended many times.
I haven't really noticed that it is unresponsive a little period of time
but only that it does not work at all after a resume from suspend
so
