libvdpau1 is working now a little but not completely. I'm using Ubuntu
12.04 dev with nvidia-current 285.05.09-0ubuntu1, libvdpau1
0.4.1-3ubuntu1 and adobe-flashplugin 11.1.102.55-0oneiric1 now. I'm
getting in videos the state "software video rendering, accelerated video
decoding". Without libvdpau

Hi Fabio,
This isn't about xorg - this is about the text mode screen console that
the kernel provides.
It seems to be driven by drivers/tty/vt/vt.c , and adding consoleblank=0
kernel parameter disables the behaviour. I'd suggest making that the
default for the server edition.

is even not possible to move the mouse, keyboard dead, so only solution
is hard reboot. Very bad. Openoffice never did that!

In Ubuntu 9 it was working to use the monitor connected at notebook. I had 2
screens and I used its.

I just bought a SAMSUNG NPV305 with a AMD A4 APU with a ATI Radeon HD 6480G
integrated into the proccesor. Installing Ubuntu 11.10 was very difficult,
normal Live CD would only turn off the screen, and nthing can be done. Tried
the alternate install, bu

Can this even be classified as a bug in xorg though? This seems more
like a driver issue and getting a proper fix from madcatz wont happen.
