I have this problem with norwegian keyboard. Running 12.04 clean install
from ISO a week after the release, so I guess it is the same version as
people above reports.
When I choose keyboard language from GUI it seems to change, but it sticks to

I have the same issue here (i5-2500) in final release of 12.04 . With
all 3.2 kernel versions. I haven't tested 3.4 or 3.3 kernels. System
crashes randomly when using firefox or libre office . First it starts to

got annoyed enough with other bugs in 2D that I switched to KDE, which
runs like a champ (although the default fonts need to be replaced first
thing after install.) So I suspect Unity/Compiz is doing something the
nvidia driver

netbook. There is an ABI mismatch between xserver-xorg-input-evdev and
xserver-xorg-core in the XIChangeDeviceProperty() function. The value
parameter gets mangled between evdev and the server.

Hi, The upgrade to 295.49 has also not solved things for me. I am using a
NVIDIA Geforce 7100 /nforce 630i and after installing the new drivers and
