as the one I uploaded. Compiz also wasn't using any notable cpu
consumption and was taking up 100 Mb of memory, which is not any
different than normal, really. So it just *dies*.

I noticed that this fix has been backported into linux-image-3.2.0-27.43
(precise-updates). I updated, and it works now! That is, the error
AIGLX error: Calling driver entry point failed is gone now. Gnome
3D/Unity works like a charm.

It just happened again, out of a sudden the screen is black.
The source menu of the monitor greys out the hdmi entry, then I unplug and
replug the keyboard cable, the hdmi entry is available again. IIRC when it
occurs then the mouse was moved a bit.
I wonder why evdev configures the keyboard as

Edit /etc/default/grub, adding video=VGA1:d between the quotes in the
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX line, then run the command

Same here, 5th freeze only this day.
It was starting when I have changed my machine to a Lenovo T530, by swapping
disk containing a Precise install.
It is not just quite annoying, it makes work nearly impossible.
I have switched from compiz to classic gnome with no effects, with no
effect.
I can propose ugly fix.
Create map of keyboard in memory with english layout and remap it to
current layout when it switched. And when pressed shortcut, just change
pressed keys by map.

I just did another fresh full reinstall and used the latest nomachine
server/client/node, but as already reported here it still crashes, but
this time it seems to recover. It also crashes on each attempt to resize
the NX window as also reported here already.

screen worked, but when X was supposed to take over, nothing happened.
