Accepted xserver-xorg-video-intel into quantal-proposed. The package
will build now and be available at http://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source
/xserver-xorg-video-intel/2:2.20.9-0ubuntu2.3 in a few hours, and then
in the -proposed repository.

Mouse freezes randomly

The same happend to me when upgrading my Kubuntu 13.04 to the released
13.10, which is running in a kvm x86_64 virtual machine.
After I entering my password, an empty splash screen remains.
all logs in /var/log/lightdm are empty (exept for the *.old ones) as
well as Xorg.0.log.
Please tell me,

I enabled the Nouveau driver in my Ubuntu 13.10 and started using my
laptop.
After I used it for few minutes (3-4 minutes) the system froze. Only the mouse
was working.

I should add, that I didn't suspend or resume the computer. It happens
frequently when I compile and package a Linux Distribution, e.g. with
Yocto/OpenEmbedded (using two parallel instances of make -j4 on a dual
core machine with hyperthreading enabled). This does not only cause high

When dragging an application window to the 2nd monitor, that application
