Public bug reported:
Hi all.
Upon resume after a suspend, the screen gets corrupted. It is still readable
(and usable) but the graphical output is like covered with a fine grid of
vertical white lines, each (apparently) 1px wide, interleaved with 1px lines
from the underlying real image, so

As I was saying before, this only happened since updating to 15.04 from 14.10.
It has more to do with my television not specifying a resolution that is
compatible with modeset. For example, it may say that it's 720p tops instead
of 1280 x 720 but I'm not sure. I do know
I figured out that is has nothing to do with the AC.

Public bug reported:
This happens at log out. Reboot and shutdown work fine but any attempt
to log out will freeze X. I can't even switch to a tty. The screen
freezes for about 30 seconds then drops to the shell but is still
frozen. The only way to correct the problem is a hard reboot.
Apport sent me here saying my bug was already known and was at this
page, however, this doesn't appear to be the same bug to me. Is there
anyway I can confirm they are the same?

things bearable - fonts are not that much affected, but still big parts
