clean install of 13.10. However, I've just realised that Dell replaced
my motherboard the day before I did the install.
The replacement motherboard is on the A01 BIOS, whereas the previous

I'm not sure when I'll have the time to do it, but sure, I can do a
bisect.
In the meantime I've just tried live-booting Fedora 20 and unlike piotr,
it picks up the trackpad correctly.
