update : xfce is worst : no brightness, no volume control.

FYI : I made several test with an other flavor of ubuntu: crunchbang 9.04.1.
This release is based on jaunty, with openbox interface. The brightness control
works...and the volume control doesn't anymore ! Suspend mode is ok.

I had a similar problem after an upgrade from 8.10 to 9.04 (update
2.6.28.15-generic).
My laptop is an AMILO Si 2636-7002, with same graphical controler as described
above.
After complete reboot I discover also that Fn F8 and Fn F9 don't work anymore.
With the 8.10 release all was absolutely
