Adam: Yeah, sorry, you're right. I don't want to demand anything. Just
got a bit frustrated last night, finding out how many bugs I experienced
in Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid, and then finding out how many of the bugreports
I'm involved in which didn't have any progress or comment. But I agree,

This is fixed in Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid LTS (RC) installed and updated
today.
Its a bit funny that this bug is still marked as New without anyone
assigned to it. Does this mean that nobody actually reads the bugs
coming in, except those affected by them? :\

Maybe ask the nice people responsible for the acpi-support package to
include wacom inside the MODULES= setting in /etc/default/acpi-
support ? Or does it fit somewhere else better? :-)

This is in Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic (RC).
After installing the fglrx-amdcccle-package, I get two links in Applications

here...):

Hello.
I'm including the 10-linuxwacom.fdi -file which did the trick for me.
It's based off of gali98's guide within Ubuntu Forums.
The default config which came with Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic (RC) did enable
the stylus and eraser for me, but not touch.
This config enables touch, and I have tried
Hello.
I have an HP Pavilion TX2690 (it's in the tx2000-series). And have just
installed the 9.10 RC.
The pen is working perfectly with the wacom-screen, but the touchscreen-part of
it is not (ie I can't use my finger, just the pen).
I'm attaching the output I think is relevant... Please tell

I have this HP Pavilion TX2690. In Karmic 9.10 Release Candidate,
without any modifications whatsoever, the pen is working perfectly - but
the touch is not (ie I can't use my finger, but pointing and clicking
with the pen is good).
Would be nice to be able to use my finger, though. Just shout if
Oh...
For my problem, see Bug #357709 (
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/wacom-tools/+bug/357709 ).
This solved it for me. :-)

Wow!
I just tried what Mikael Honkala said in comment #4:
replacing the contents of file
/usr/share/hal/fdi/policy/20thirdparty/10-wacom.fdi with that found at
http://launchpadlibrarian.net/25262022/working.fdi enables also touch with
proper calibration.
And it solved this for me!
Ok, I find
