Thanks for the reply.
I gave up using Ubuntu as it was too buggy and too difficult to find out
what it was trying to do. Documentation seems non existent. Ubuntu makes
it very difficult to do anything.
I did look at downloading the latest version but the easy windows loader
doesn't exist

previously work out for you, as my computer has been bug free and easy
to install and use.
Despite this, you could always check for the problem via a live
environment if you don't want to disrupt your installed one.
