This bug just reappeared in xubuntu 11.10 on the same Averatec laptop,
when I select the AntSpotlight screensaver. As suggested in #31, I'll
file this as a new bug, with reference to this one.

If you could also please test the latest upstream kernel available that would
be great. It will allow additional upstream developers to examine the issue.
Refer to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Once you've tested the
upstream kernel, please remove the 'needs-upstre

problem as well.

Here is the xorg.conf file.
Panel size is specified, and acceleration is enabled, I believe. Please
check settings.
Browser scrolling is smooth, so it appears acceleration works to that
extent.

This should be with the recompiled openchrome driver installed (I'm not
positive this was done correctly) The ant-spotlight screen saver does
not crash the system, as it did before. Acceleration is enabled. I'll
attach xorg.conf as well.

I disabled the Option "NoAccel" after finding that scrolling web pages
became very annoying, and so on. Now I have un xorg.conf
Section "Device"

Driver "openchrome"

Option "NoAccel" "true" enables AntSpotlight and Slip screensavers to
run without crashing the system. I did change to the Gnome
