I absolutely love the vegitarian cheese steaks (I think they just call them
"hot veggie hoagie" or something like that) from pasqualies. Mostly
mushrooms and black olives. I could eat an elephant full of them. Though the
store itself is weird -- I think they're selling chineese food now as well.
I dunno. Everyone says there is good pizza in UCity, but I haven't found it
yet.
Though I really like gourmet yuppie pizza (a la Pietro's and Lombardi's in
Center City), and that type of pizza hasn't really made it over to West
Philly, to my knowledge. I know there's a place called Rustic Pizz

If you want a real pro locally to look at your system. IMHO the best around is Jim and

is working on the house on the corner of 43rd and Osage.

I am interested in getting a diversity of grocery store options in University City. Right
now we have the Fresh Grocer as pretty much our only option. I think that University City could
support more grocery stores. We especially could use something farther to the

Dear Neighbors,
Please do not blame Papa John’s ® etc. Pizzeria.
Blame it on the fact that these businesses do not know that people of non-color are living in those areas. (i.e. west of 49th St. and/or South of Baltimore Ave.)
