I upgraded to Karmic maybe a week before release. I also was confused
when mutt didn't give me the graphical password dialog for signing
emails anymore until I found this bug report. Manually installing
seahorse-plugins resolved it.

On a hunch that it might be a problem specific to our systems, I tried
installing a fresh copy of Karmic in VirtualBox. I then installed Spring

I've been doing some more testing on the Dell D420 referred to in #14.
If I boot with the 2nd monitor connected, the system starts with the displayed
mirrored.
I can then use system / preferences / display to make the displays different.

I had the same issue here. After i uncheck all stuff in the settings for
display the tray, open twinkle and close twinkle twice and enable this
settings again and open twinkle again the icon appears on the right
bottom tray as it should. Perhaps this works for you.

I'm using Ubuntu Karmic Koala.
I have lxpanel 0.5.3 installed, and it is confirmed that the settings
page of the desktop pager are disabled. I can also confirm that you
can configure the number of virtual desktops using Menu Preferences
Openbox configuration menu.

I assume you launch conky with a script and some amount of delay already?
If so, does increasing the delay solve your problem?
