Thanks - sudo /etc/init.d/slimserver stop works perfectly. In Xandros the script is in /etc/init.d/, though there's also a file that links to init.d in /etc/rc0.d/ (not sure what the point of that is...) The only reason I wanted to shut down Slimserver was to try and follow the directions for

Have you looked at the log with d_source to see if there any error messages when run from the console not in the log window as the log window doesn't show support app messages ? Have you tried mplayer instead of faad2 ? -- bpa ---

Yeah, I tried to swap the type from PCM to WAV with no luck... So I'm stuck with using faad2.5 to stream raw pcm audio to the squeezebox... which mostly works just fine except for when my wireless connection is doing "other stuff"... :-/ -- gojensen
