I think I found out what was causing it in my case: No more space on the
drive. Mea culpa, but the Squeezebox software could probably handle it a
little better than crashing and requiring a reinstall.

WMA lossles support ? It can work depending on avaible 3rd party hacks
depending on distro, that is not really a , problem as you can convert
the lot to flac.

Hi there, first post in this forum.
I've been running SBS 7.4x and earlier versions on Ubuntu for two years
and never had any problems. With an upgrade to Natty (x86_64) the SBS
scanner (all versions 7.4x - 7.6.0) struggles to parse CUE sheets with
unicode characters.
My setup:
Version: 7.6.0
have you installed the 32 bit combability stuff on your ubuntu ?
sudo apt-get install ia32-libs
