Additional results for the wandboard QUAD under F19-A1 20130727.
Works with both optical and USB out to an Audio GD NFB-2 DAC.
Works with USB out to AktiMate Micro powered speakers.
Runs the Logitech media server to drive 3 different squeezeboxes at the
same time, in addition to squeezelite/jive
Another user, Henke, tried picoplayer and he suggested the following
settings.

It is special for his ALSA device settings and "-r" settings, please
take a look and it might work for your USB DAC.

Sorry I read it wrong, it looks like it is being set to none by default.
I have a SPDIF receiver in FPGA, I can fairly easily use that

More results for testing the Wandboard QUAD optical out with different
DACs on F19-A1:
Works with the digital input on the Transporter (via the analog outputs
- doesn't seem to pass through digital to the other digital outputs).
Works with the optical input on a Metrum NOS Mini DAC.
Doesn't work
The SWAMP board has a correct optical connection, but I have not been
able to get sound out of it. The receiver locks onto the stream, gets
the sample rate correctly but no sound. I had forgotten about SCMS.
I'll try it into a different receiver and see if it plays on that.

I do like the OLED, but VFD would be nice too!

This is nice and big (6.7" diagonal), I might get one of these to play
with too. The electrical interface is different than mine, but there is
a USB option. Or an adapter to SPI (like my OLED) is not so

I am wondering if the NAD M2 is sensitive to the SCMS (serial copy
management system) bit? I also wonder how the CSOS/Wandbaord is setting
that bit?
Something lik

No SPDIF issues with
For sure, I tested QUAD SPDIF out with R7 into Transporter optical in.
I'm pretty sure I tested F19 A1 with the same set-up as well. Will test
tonight. I'm pretty sure other people were using SPDIF out? Anyone else
with positive or negative reports?
