I've just ported the Applet Installer to JiveLite - this should provide
a mechanism for 3rd party applets to downloaded to jivelite. This is
available in the latest git master branch. [note vis branch has also
been merged into master]

It seems you're not really exactly following the guide, so you end up
with several CPAN dirs (using my approach, there is only have one in
/opt/logitechmediaserver-7.7.2-33893-noCPAN/CPAN).

I'm trying to get this working on a Raspberry Pi, but I got lost at this
part:
- create a directory to build the binary perl modules and download
everything from here into it (for 7.8, use this instead).
- adjust the buildme.sh script to use the perl in /opt. Look for the
lines:

Follow up to my post #541.
I thought that I would attempt to commit my changes to make the wifi
adapter work. After getting the adapter to connect, I used "sudo
filetools.sh -b" which I assumed would preserve the changes I've made
over reboot. However on reboot, this was not the case. There
DSD transcoding to DoP output works great for both DSD64 and DSD128
files (DSF and DSDIFF), although I do get XRUNs from time to time.
Generally DSF files have proper ID3 tags and show album, title, artist
and embedded (?) artwork in LMS.
It seems audioscanner has problems with the ID3 tags in DF
